Off To Africa....
Hooray! The day of departure has arrived! Today we are heading across the ocean to Rwanda with our family. Joel will be working at a rural hospital, serving the beautiful people at Kibogora Hospital. The kids & I will be spending the days playing with kids, making crafts, cooking, cleaning & enjoying summer.
Between now & when we arrive at the hospital we face quite a journey ahead of us. We will be on 3 different airplanes, arrive in the dark & make our way to a guesthouse for an overnight, then travel by car through the mountains for a 3-6 hour ride along the dirt, dusty, bumpy, hair-pin-curvey road.

The few weeks leading up to this trip have already been filled with the blessings of our BIG God.
Joel prayed a peace-giving prayer over our family this morning - May our Father be with us & ahead of us as we fly on the wings of the dawn & settle on the far side of the sea.
